COURT NEWS 1 Divorce Case ‘ A temporary allowance was ‘ granted Phyllis Arliane Thieme in 1 the divorce case of Phyllis Arliane 1 Thieme vs Norwin Thieme. The defendant also will pay the S2OO attorney fees for the plaintiff. The support fee will be $lO a week. Estate Case The final report was submitted and approved in the Jacob Meyer estate. A petition to settle the estate, to determine the heirship, and for authority to distribute was filed. A notice was issued, retnrnable Dec. 24. Recount Attendance Order The court ordered that Richard D. Lewton, a Democrat, and Cal E. Peterson, a Republican, members of the Adams county election board, be present at the recount of votes for the mayor’s race of the city of Decatur on Dec. 9. The order was made by Judge Myles F. Parrish to provide protection ,for the ballots and to assure that the ballots and tally .sheets will be I made available to the recount comi mission, which was appointed Tuesday. Commission Appointment Lawrence Archbold, a Democrat appointee to the recount commission for the Nov. 3 mayoral race in Decatur, received his oath of office today in circuit court from Judge Myles F. Parrish. Archbold could not attend Wednesday’s ceremonies when Wilbur Petrie, Republican, and William Barber, ’Democrat, were sworn in. The committee I will work for the betterment of ■ the conditions for local tomato I growers. Erwin Fuelling was renamed I county chairman and Sol Moser I will be the new administrative I assistant. The township chairmen I are: Blue Creek, Delmore Wech- I ter; French, Burt Seesenguth; I Hartford, Ralph Eckrote; Jeffer- I son, Dave Moser; Monroe, Orval I Neuenschwander; Preble, Arthur I Koeneman; Root, Fred Auman; St. ■ Mary’s, Albert Davison; Union, I Herman Bleeke, and Washington, I Floyd Rupert. Mrs. Ed Gerber and Mrs. Orval I Neuenschwander will head the I county women’s organizations with I all activities and planning going I through their office.
