The association urged its members to get everyone of the 2,269 petition signers to the polls Nov. 3. Plans were made to offer and provide transportation to those voters who might need it, and babysitters for tbos? with children who wanted to go to the polls. Voters were warned to examine their single ballot closely, as a vote on one of the party symbols at the top of the ballot will not count in the electric plant election. To vote for the sale, the voter must check the lower left-hand square. Vera Cruz School Plans Improvement The newly formed building and improvement committee of the Vera Cruz opportunity school, met October 16 at the office of Wells county superintendent of schools. Lloyd Lieurance. This committee was appointed by the school’s executive committee in May. The school is greatly in need of additional rooms as there are children waiting to enroll but to date the school is filled to capacity. At present there is approximately $4,000 in the treasury to begin the project. Plans as to size of the expansion were throughly discussed. A future meeting is to be held October 30. Elmer Isch, R. R. 4, Bluffton, is chairman of the committee. Other officers and members are Chanucey Reid. Paul Baumgartner, Mrs. Leroy Wibel, Mrs. Max Fosnaugh. Dr. T. O. Dorrance and L. C. Lieurance.
