Leste.- Dale Affolder, 18, of route one. G.neva, and Wanda Lou Pensinger. 19, of Portland, have applied for a marriage license in Jay county. Federal authorities are investigating 15 to 20 mail boxes which were pushed qyer in Jay county on highway 27 north of Portland. The sheriff there warns that disturbing a mail box is a very serious offense. Melvin Crozier, 21, of Craigville, was arrested in Bluffton Saturday and charged with reckless driving. A power overload at the Bluffton city light plant disengaged a circuit breaker Monday, and power in the business district was off 45 minutps, and 10 minutes on the south circuit, including Franklin Electric. Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Drew returned late Monday evening from a weekend visit to Holland and Detroit, Mich. Mr; and Mrs. Woodson Ogg, of Decatur, attended the 90th birthday party of James H. Hiles, of Hartford Qty,'last Sunday. The population of New York when it was captured from the Dutch by the British in 1664 was only 1,000.
