Miss Sheets, David Liby Speak Vows
The Rev. Benpamin G. Thomas, assisted by the Rev. John Mishler, officiated for the double ring cere- * mony which united in marriage Sunday afternoon, Miss Sharron Kay Sheets and David Charles Liby. Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Sheets of 228% North Third street and Mrs. Emma Liby of 218 East Market street, Bluffton, are parents of the couple. Beauty baskets of blue and white gladioli decorated the front of the Pleasant Dale church of the Brethren and large white bows decorated the pews. Miss Bernita Liby was organist for the 2 o’clock ceremony, and nuptial music was sung by Mrs. Paul Gehmann. Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected a flared white dress of nylon dotted Swiss material gathered at the waist with a wide band of lace. A satin ribbon was braided through the lace and tied in a bow in the front. The scooped neckline of the dress formed a V in the back and topping the bodice was a loose jacket with three quarter length sleeves. A small bouquet of blue and white carnations carried with a white Bible formed the bride’s bouquet and she wore a tear drop pearl headpiece to which was attached her shoulder length veil. Powder blue dresses of light cotton were chosen by the maid of honor and bridemaid, Miss Judy R. Fisher and Miss Carolyn Taylor, respectively. The fitted bodice of the dresses had eyelet detailing and flowed into street length skirts. White linen daisies enhanced the headbands that held their short veils and the attendants carried bouquets of blue painted daisies. J/)hn Liby was best man for the occasion and seating the guests were Howard Michaels and Robert Keller. The mother of the bride appear- , ed in a sheath dress of pink lace with white accessories and a corsage of roses. A rose nylon lace dress complemented with white
