Chester H. Schwartz Associate Director Chester H. Schwartz, son of Peter D. Schwartz, West Monroe street, is the new associate dinector of the United Fund and Community chest of St. Joseph county. A native of Monroe township, Schwartz has/been executive director of the Terre Haute-Vigo county chapter of the American Red Crpss. He served as a field representative of the Red Cross in the Pacific area for three years, and as director of the safety services of the Fort Wayne-Allen county Red Cross chapter for five years. He has also worked for the Allen county department of public welfare as a case worker and as a parole supervisor. Home Demonstration Council Will Meet Approximately 30 representatives of the 23 home demonstration clubs in Adams county will meet Monday at the Farm Bureau Co-Op building in Monroe. . These representatives, making up the Adams county home demonstration council, which meets quarterly, will make arrangements for the county 4-H fair, July 28, 29, and 30; the -Z.Uual home demonstration clubs’ trip; and the achievement day program in October.
