WhiteSox And Tigers Win In Little League The White Sox scored their first victory of the season and the Tigers racked up their third win in the Little League double header Friday night at Worthmari field. The White Sox broke their fourgame losing Streak by defeating the Indians, 8-1, the Indians’ fifth loss without a victory. In the nightcap,«the Tigers defeated the Senators, 4-2, for a 3-1 record. It gave the Senators a 1-2 mark. Willie Putteet limited the Indians to only one hit in the opener, a single by Landrum in the fourth. The Indians scored their only run in the second on a hit batsman and three consecutive bases on balls. The White Sox tallied two runs in each of the second and third innings and four in the fifth. Craig Finlayson led the attack With three hits, including a double, and drive in three runs. In the nightcap, the Tigers scored two in the second inning on three hits and an error, and their other two counted in the fourth on only one hit, plus three errors. The Senators scored single runs in the fourth and sixth innings. A double header is scheduled at Worthman field Tuesday night.
