Mrs. Caroline Owens Baumgartner, the owner, said the diner was closed at 2:50 a.m. and re-opened at 7 a.m., when an employe, Ruth Baughman, noted the loss of money, , . 4 . The investigating Vfficer said that $195.74 had been tafejn from a milk cooler, while the remaining ; was looted from the cash drawer. No evidence was found disclosing other damage. The thief apparently gained access to the building by entering an unlocked window at the north side of the inn, which is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Winchester street and U. S. 27.
