Farmers Urged To Study Storage Need A farmer who plans to reseal grain under loan on nls farm this spring or sumnier should be looking ahead to the need he may have for additional storage capacity when his 1950 crops are harvested. Chairman James Garboden, of the Adams county agricultural stabilization and conservation committee said today. If the situation indicates that more storage facilities will be needed to handle the 1959 harvest, storage payments earned by reseal .will be sufficient to cover a substantial part of the cost of the new facilities, Garboden pointed out. " In addition, he said, favorable financing may be obtained under the farm storage facility loan program which will be available again in 1959. Such loans may be obtained by farmers through the county ASC office fed’ as much as 80 per cent of the cost of the needed facilities. The loans draw 4 per cent interest and arg* repayable in four annual instalments. Garboden emphasized that heavy resealing is highly desirable during this period when supplies of nearly all grains are unusually high. More farm grain storage, he said, eases the pressure on commercial and on government-owned storage facilities. He also points out that much of the surplus grain will eventually be consumed by livestock on ' farms in feeding areas. Corn and soybeans will be eligible for resealing this year provided they are farm-stored in adequate structures and meet the quality requirements in effect when the original loans were made. A commodity may be resealed any time after the loan or purchase agreement matures and before the farmer receives instructions from his county office on delivery of the grain. CROP Committee To Meet Here Wednesday The county CROP committee will meet at the county agent’s office Wednesday at 11 a.m., to discuss next year's program with Gerald L. Wilson, state director. Wilson notified several members of the committee that he will be in town at that time, and asked that all committee members attend, ii: possible. Members are; Hugo Boer ger, chairman; Leo N. Seltpnright, vice chairman; Mrs. Noah secretary; Brice Bauserman, treasurer; the Rev.
