Incentive Price On Wool Is Unchanged Chairman James Garboden of the Adams county agricultural stabilization and conservation committee, today reminded wool growers that the incentive price for wool during the 1959 marketing year, beginning April 1 and continuing through March 31, 1960, is 62 cents a pound, the same as during the current 1958 marketing year. The department of agriculture, Garboden said, makes no recommendation as to whether wool shpuld be sold befort) or after March 31, when the current marketing year ends. That is a decision for the individual producer based on the market situation and other factors. Under the payment method used in the wool program, the more a producer gets for his wool, the higher payment he receives. The payment rate is the percentage necessary to bring the national average farm price of wool up to the incentive level. After the 1958 wool marketing year ends March 31. farmers have 30 days to submit applications for payments to be made in the summer and fall of 1959. On sales after March 31, 1959. payments will be made in the summer and fall of 1960. Trade in a good town — Decatur,

Search For Slayers Os Virginia Family WASHINGTON (UPD-Authori-ties from Maryland and Virginia met here today with FBI agents to map a search for the slayer or slayers of the four members of the Carroll Jackson family of Mineral. Va. The family disappeared mysteriously the night of Jan. 11'. On March 5. the bodies of Jackson. 29. and 18-months-old Janet were found in a siwdust pit nehr Fredericksburg, Va. The bodies of Mrs. Mildred Jackson, 27. and Susan Ann. 5, were found Saturday in a shallow grave in a woods near Annapolis, Md. Chief Wilburg Wade of the Anne Arundel County, Md., police said be believed an itinerant sawmill hand may have killed the family. Wade said there is a connection between the sites where they were wre found. Wade said all are near sawmills. He also said he believed there was a connection with the murder of a woman in 1957. Wade said a 19-year old cook picked up for questioning was released Sunday night and had no connection with the case. Dr. Russell Fisher, Maryland chief medical examiner, said Mrs. Jackson and Susan were killed in January and probably within hours of the time the other Jacksons were killedMrs. Jackson was beaten on the head and face and strangled with a nylon stocking. Susan had a fractured skull. Wade said he was convinced the killer of the Jacksons was the same person who killed Mrs. Margaret Harold in June, 1957. Her body was found about half a mile from where the bodies of Mrs. Jackson and her daughter were found Saturday. The murder has never been solved.
