Trinity Church To Dedicate Elevator The Trinity Evangelical United Brethren church, Ninth and Madison streets, will dedicate the newly installed elevator in the morning worship service Sunday. The elevator has been installed at the main entrance, making it posable to enter the sanctuary for worship without climbing the many steps. The elevator is operated by hydraulic power. The cab is five by eight feet and can lift 3,500 pounds. The construction and installation were done by the White-Evans Co., Indianapolis, and Chalmer Barkley was the local contractor. Total cost of the project was $8,400. The 10 a m. dedication service will'be led by the pastor, the Rev. J. O. Penrod, assisted by Chalmer Barkley, representing the committee and 0. P. Mills, representing the senior members of the church. The elevator will enable many regular members of the church to attend services, those who have had difficulty climbing the steps. The committee in charge of the project consists of Herman Sautbine, chairman; Hubert Gilpin, Homer Arnold r Chalmer Bollenbacher, Clifford Hoverman and Chalmer Barkley.
