I InKI ; BraM ’ > „ . ' i " wIIm Bi? I -8 WKil '*W The Wesley Players of the Wavne Street Methodist church, Fort Wayne, will present “Pilgrims of The Way," a three act play dealing with the conversion of Saul of Tarsis, in the local Methodist church Sunday evening at 7:30 o'clock. The play is directed by Lois Peterson Keller, drama teacher at Woodburn high school. Mrs. Keller is the daughter of Mrs. John Peterson of Decatur and well known in the Decatur community. "Pilgrims of The Way” is the name given to a group of disciples which meets in the Upper Room of Mary’s home. John Mark, an ardent young believer, sees Stephan stoned to death and knows Saul is responsible tor this and many other persecutions. Saul is a friend of Barnabas and John Mark meets him for the first time in Mary’s garden. This is a dramatic moment but eventually Saul sees the living Christ and becomes a disciple. The time of the plav is soon after Christ’s crucifixion. The place is in a garden near Mary’s home. A blackout occurs at the end of each scene to denote passing of time. Characters in the play are Stanley Needham, Barnabas; Martha Grant, Mary; Henry Croco, Saul; Tom Erb, John Mark; and ijittra Saaris, Rhoda. #
