Another month is now history and we stand ready to make a new mark in a new month. It is good to start the month with a Sunday, and, as is our custom on the first Sunday of the month, the junior choir will lead our hymn singing. They will present the anthem “My Savior Cares,” under the direction of Mrs. G. Strickler. The pastor’s message will be “The Un-spoken Word” and takes up, in part, some of the symbols in the church. The church school takes up “God's Love and Man’s Refusal!” The scriture lesson is taken from Matthew 21:33-46; Mark 14:3-9. If you haven’t read your Bible lately why don’t you start with this and attend class Sunday. .. Thursday evening service brings the message: “The Promise.” Official board will meet at 8:15 p.m., Thursday evening. You know, last week I overheard someone say that the reason they didn't go to church was because they knew so little about the Bible, and they felt out of place. Well, if this is true in your case, let me assure you that you will be right at home in church. The church’is not made up of those people that know all there is to know, but rather, it is made,up of those that are willing to admit that they know very little, and yet are concerned enough to try to learn mwore. Will you come and worship with some church this Sunday? Let’s be together as we learn of Christ. After all is said and done - more is said than done. YOST Gravel-Readymix Inc.
