i f (Continued Brom p«e one) INALS. —oOo ADAMS CENTRAL-YELLOW JACKETS — Both tußms have been up and down all beacon. A rougher schedule should put the Jackets in better position for this one. So, a vote for the YELLOW JACKETS. MONMOUTH-COMMODORES — Both have had mighty poor seasons. The Eagles downed the Commodores early in the season when the Commodores were hampered by ineligibility. The Eagles also lack the scoring potentiality of the Commodores. So, a vote for the COMMODORES. —oOo— BERNE-GENEVA—Another toughie. The Cardinals have the better record, but lost on their home floor by one point to the Bears, and don’t appear to have enough size to match the Bears. So, another vote for the champion BEARS. —— • YELLOW JACKETS-COMMODORE3—The Decatur teams do not meet in regular season play, but in two previous sectional engagements, provided two splendid ball games. Jackets’ record, while far from good, is better than Commodores. So, a rather hesitant vote for the YELLOW JACKETS. BERNE-YELLOW JACKETS—The Jackets defeated the Bears on the Berne court away back in Decern-, her by eight points, but Berne appears to have improved more than the Jackets. So, another vote for the champion BEARS. —oOo— THERE ARE THE predictions for 1959. May feel pretty foolish when all the smoke has cleared away, as

it looks from here like the team that gets up and stays up for three games will take the marbles. And that team? Anybody’s guess is as good aa anybody else. Here’s hoping for a fine tourney, capacity crowds and the tbps in sportsmanship. -
