Soil Conservation Officers Elected Election of officers highlighted the monthly meeting of the soil conservation supervisors in Decatur recently. Those elected will serve throughout 1959. Herman Bulmahn, Root township, was elected president, with Richard Scheumann, Preble township, as vice president. Ben Mazelin, Monroe township, was •elected secre-tary-treasurer. Soil conservation district assistance was approved by the board of supervisors for August Heimann, Washington township; Robert Hanni, Hartford township; Noah Mayman, Hartford township; Alton Bittner, Preble township, and William Fiechter, French township. Requests were also approved for group assistance to Wiedler-Kipfei tile, French township; Rich-Balsi-ger tile, French township, and Emerson-Lehman ditch, Monroe township.
