INDIGNATION Ctontlnued from page its' LaMn American neighbors. It was reported that he said the state department planned no official action. , » TEMPERATURE Continued from page one Die Evansville tow represented a drop of 46 degrees from Thursday’s peak reading there. Elsewhere, Thursday highs were in the 30s. Central Indiana will feel the brunt of the cold wave tonight, with temperatures falling to zero to 5 below. In the north and the south, however, a “near zero” low was expected. ‘ The Weather Bureau indicated the cold weather would be shortlived. After highs between 5 and 15 today, the mercury will climb to the 20s Saturday, and the outlook for Sunday was fair and warmer. - The five-day outlook called for temperatures averaging 4 degrees below normal north to 8 degrees below normal south. "Warming trend Sunday and Monday and in west portion Saturday afternoon.” the outlook said. “Colder again about Tuesday and Wednesday. Precipitation will total less than one-tenth of an inch in light snow about Monday.” The weather-connected fatal accident killed Willis W. Hannon, 45, Beech Grove, whose car skidded on icy blacktop into the path of another. Harmon’s death was the eighth in Indiana this week in accidents blamed at least partly on weather. Fog contributed to the other seven, including three in a plane crash.
