Weber will narrate the film “This is the Difference," showing what Valparaiso University offers its students, and beautiful pictures of on-campus activities. Mortimer will discuss the many problems connected with_lhe supervision of the unusual structure on Valpo’s campus. A study was made of over. 80 different college and university chapels all over the United States, England, and Germany before any plans were drawn. The structure is patterned after the Church of the Nativity at Bethlehem, having an octagonal shaped chancel, rising eight stories to form a star at the ceiling. A football field can be placed inside the chapel. 4 Beneath the chancel, but still on proaches, will be the Gloria Christi ground level and with separate apmeditation chapel which will seat 350 people. This“'little Jewel” of the large structure, also octagon shaped, was mede possible by the j women of the' Valparaiso Univerj sity Guild, a chapter of which comj crises 120 women of the Decatur area. Mortimer says: “This chapel is not built for a decade, but for the centuries. Built on the highest point of the campus overlooking route 30 into Chicago, where an estimated 10,000 cars pass daily, this chapel proclaims that the religion of Jesus Christ is the heart and center of all our teaching,' and the university's actual day by day learning and worship.” 20 Families Routed By Fire In Tenement NEW YORK (UPD — At least 20 families were driven into the street Wednesday night by a twoalarm “fire which "burned through the top two floors of a five-story tenement.
