Building Kickoff At Elks Tuesday A building kickoff dinner and meeting will be held by the Deca* tur Elks lodge at 6:30 o'clock Tuesday evening at the lodge home on North Second street. At this dinner meeting, members will launch their final drive for financing the proposed Elks home. The dinner is free and all Elks members are invited and urged so attend.

Chicago Daily News Sold To Sun-Times CHICAGO (UPI) - Control of the Chicago Daily News was sold today to Field Enterprise Inc., owners of the Chicago Sun - Times, it was announced jointly by John S. Knight, editor and publisher of the Daily New*.since 1944, and by Marshall Field Jr., editor and publisher of the Sun-Times. Trade in a good town — Decatur.

THE BUILDING PROGRAM of the Church of the Nazarene, Seventh and Marshall streets, is being steadily advanced.
