And scientists have made clear that even a few more would enable the United States to make progressively greater advances into the unknown reaches of the universe. BULGANIN IN Continued from page one Released From Hospital He recently was reported seriously ill in a Moscow hospital and apparently was released from the hospital to address the Central Committee. The anti-party group ousted in July, 1957, included former premiers Vyacheslav M. Molotov and Georgi Malenkoy, former Foreign Minister Dmitri Shepilov and Lazar Kaganovich, a member of the Presidium. It was only recently that Khrushchev connected up Bulganin in a speech as a member of the anti-party group. Bulganin appeared before the Central Committee Thursday and bitterly assailed the other members of the group. He said he ■ saw the error of his own ways ' last June. “Here with all plainness and all sincerity I declare that I will honestly, without sparing myself, try to rub off the shameful spot on me,” Bulganin told the Central Committee. Agrees With Criticism “I promise the Central Committee that I will be an honest and ■ faithful member of the Communist Party, and I will be such. I ’ repeat that I will do everything ’ in my power to live up 1 to the 1 high calling of a member of the party and to struggle together with the party for its cause, the cause of Communism.” He .said the anti-party group met in his office in the Kremlin 5 “to discuss its anti-party faction- ’ al splitting work” and that “in r essence I joined them in this anti-party mire.” Bulganin said he agreed with harsh criticism of himself at the current party meeting by Khru- ■ shchev and other Communist . leaders, Over 2,500 Daily Democrats are ; sold and delivered in Decatur each day. ‘
