School Reporter Leading scorer for the Greyhounds was David Isch with 20 points. Larry Foreman had 11 points and Max Egley 9. - A. C. H. S. — Many, many, many things went on at the Berne-Adams Central game Tuesday evening. To start festivities off, during the half of the second team game the CenTrails’ king and gueen were crowned. As the ten contestants entered the gym, the spotlight carried them to the stage. Crowned Cen-Trails’ king and queen were Tom Heyeriy and Carol Haggard. Their court included Arlene Zimmerman, Alan Habegger, Jeannie Smith, David Isch, Wanda Neuenschwander, Max Egley, Mary Dick, and Larry Foreman. — A. C. H. S. — Also, for the Berne game, the band played betweep games, and then presented their Christmas program “Kiddie Kapej-s,” at the half of the first team game. The band, under direction of Don Gerig, entered the gym in marching formations including a violing.'star, and a grandfather clock. While the band outlined a violin, two of the twirlers pulled die bow back and forth in order to have the violin seem like it was playing. — A. C. H. S. — As the song goes “the mouse ran up the clqck”—so it did for Central’s band Tuesday night. Only Central’s mouse was third grader, Janice Sommer. Janice ran up and down the clock and was chased by drum majorette Jeannie Smith. One of Janice’s tasks was to lead poor Evan Yoder off the floor after die band had exited—it seems he got carried away and took all the bows for the whole band by himself. How embarrassing! It was all in fun, though? - A. C. H S. — Berne and Adams Central used a good neighbor policy for their band performance last week. For the Berne-Dunkirk game, Central’s band was asked to play and the twirlers were requested to display the flag. Berne’s band was to play that Saturday evening for the Messiah and couldn't play at their game. JEgley, < jtWfor at Berne;' in tutfe parttc%»ted with Ceitralite Jeannie Smith in the band’s star formation. These two girls lit up the star with a fire baton duet. - A. C. H. S. — The Rev. Hazen Sparks of the First Methodist church in Decatur delivered Central’s chapel program yesterday morning. Before Rev. Sparks’ address on Christmas, the girls’ emsemble, accompanied by Delora Mishler cm the piano, presented a Christmas number. - A. C. H. S. — Christmas is in the air! Yes,
