CHRISTMAS PROGRAM 18 PLANNED BY WOMAN’S CLUB A general meeting of the Woman's club will be held Monday | evening at 8 o’clock in the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church sanctuary. Members of the .music depart-' ment will be in charge of the special Christmas program which will 1 feature Miss Ann Kocher, guest artist, who will play the vibra harp. Several popular Christmas carols will beincludedln her selections. Other music will be provided by members of the women’s chorus under the direction of Miss Helen Haubold and accompanied by Mrs. Edger Gerber. Mrs. J. Fred Fruchte win present a special number and a selection of Christmas songs , will be used when Mrs. Glen Bor-; chers rand Mrs. Harold Murphy present a piano and organ duet. Little Cash Taken In Church Breakin Very little cash was obtained by thieves who pried open two doors at the Apostolic Christian church near Vera Cruz Saturday night. Pry bars were used by the thieves to gain entry into the church and into a locked cloak room. Approximately S 2 was taken from the collection boxes, but serious loss was caused to the doors.
