(Discussion Oft I I Questions g£§| Discussion Questions on the Sunday school lesson, the galiliean ministry begins, for Sunday, November 2. 1. What must be the qualifications a disciple of Christ? 2. Why do you think Jesus called the four disciples mentioned in today's lesson and why did they respond to his call? 3. Why did Jesus choose men of different professions and abilities to be his disciples? 4. How did John the Baptist prepare the wall for Jesus’ ministry? 5. To What role did Christ call his disciples? Clericus Says: As of old, Christianity must be presented as a challenge tb adventure rather than an appeal to comfort and security. The faith of fishermen enable them to depend on the orderliness of the universe and the see-worth-iness of their boat. Those who become fishers of men must likewise have faith in the reality of the spiritual world and its laws, and the reliability of the gospel. True fishermen must have hope and not lose faith in the face of high waves and storms. Christians today will make little impression on the world unless they are willing to take risks in the adventure of soul winning. Making a life should /be more important to everyone than making a living. SPRUNGER IMPLEMENT CO. Industrial chaplains and psychiatrists team up in many plants to help employer and employees solve personnal problems. The salary of one chaplain in a meat- packing concern is paid for by both union and management — Gospel Herald. Most people wno talk Christianity by the yard can't walk it by the inch.
