JOLLY HOUSEWIVES HOLD i MEETING TUESDAY EVENING Mrs. Jim Smith presented a 1 reading entitled “Take Time” for the devotions at the Tuesday evening meeting of the Jolly Housewives home demonstration club, who met at the Pleasant Mills school. The president, Mrs. Carl Frey, presided and opened the meeting with the members repeating the club collect. After Mrs. Smith had given her devotions, the song of the month. “Shine on Harvest Moon,” was sung by the group. Mrs. Agnes Backhaus gave the citizenship lesson and Miss Lois Folk presented a lesson on oven meals.
