Purdue university supervised the weighing and testing of production as a part of the herd improvement registray program. Four Accidents Are Reported In County One Driver Injured In Accident Sunday Four accidents occurred over the weekend, three in the city limits and one on U. S. 27 five miles north of Decatur. One driver received personal injuries, and three motorists were arrested by the investigating officers following the mishaps. A car driven by Harold W. ' Schieferstein, 18, route one, Decatur, was struck from the rear by an auto driven by Walter G. Roehm, 19, route one, Willshire, 0.. Sunday at 1:15 a. m as he attempted to make a left turn in- , to the driveway located at his home. Both cars were headed south at the time of the accident. Roehm suffered a broken nose and a laceartion to his left leg as a result of the mishap, Schieferstein was not injured. Roehm was arrested following the accident by sheriff Merle Affolder for reckless driving. He will appear to the charge in justice of the peace court tonight at 8 o’clock-. Both of the automobiles were considered a total loss by the investigating officers. The city police department was Summoned to the. intersection of 13th and Monroe streets to investigate a reported accident at 12:18 p. m. Sunday. Involved in the mishap were Drey C. Bragg, 39, Fort Wayne, and Ruth K. Kenworthy, 30, Decatur. Brag was headed south on 13th and hit the Kenworthy auto on the right front door. The Kenworthy vehicle was headed west on Monroe at the time of the accident. Bragg was’ arrested by the city police for running a red light, and will appear to the charge in justice of the peace court Saturday at 1:30 p. m. Involved in the accident were Frank E. LaFlane, 37, Dayton, 0., and Kenneth E. Krause, 17, route one, Hoagland. Both of the vehicles were headed south at the time of the accident. Krause attempted to make a right turn from the inside lane of traffic and struck the car driven by LaFrane on the left front fender. Krause was arrested for improper turning and will appear to the charge tonight at 7 o’clock in justice of the peace court. The city police investigated an accident ’ at Second and Monroe streets Saturday at 8:05 p. m. Cars driven by Richard O. Manley, 32, Decatur, and Harley H. Doner, 67, Van Wert, 0., collided, causing SIOO damage to the Doner vehicle, and $125 to the Manley auto. Manley was headed south on Second stret and the Doner vehicle was headed east on Madison street at the time of the accident.
