New Milk Processing House Al Stale Fair Milk To Find Way , To Grade A Channel Milk produced on the Indiana state fairgrounds will find its way into grade "A” channels at this year’s- fair. A new milk processing house will be constructed adjacent to the cattle ba; a this summer. Under the direction of the fair board grounds committee, headed by Walter H. Wimmer, Rockville, the Surge Dairy Equipment com- J pany of Chicago, will install an ela- I borate set-up designed to process “A” milk. Exhibitors, showing some 600 head of dairy cattle, will be able to take advantage of this during the fair week. The equipment will be located on the west side of the cattle barn and will consist of a receiving room, weighing vat, and three 350-gallon, refrigerated tanks tor cooling and storage. The . new hearing is set for July 10 ' at 7:30 p.m. , Precombine Meet At i Wheat Variety Plot 3 I Gilbert Walker, extension agrqnmist, will be the discussion leader for a precombine meeting at the Adams county wheat variety plots, Leo N. Seltenright, county agent, announced today. The meeting will be held at 6:45 p.m. Monday at the wheat plots, just northwest of the Berne high school on the school farm. The plots were put in and supervised by Eugene Sprunger, vocational agriculture teacher at Berne. There are seven different varieties of wheat in the plots and there should be> considerable interest in the different varieties, states Seltenright. Any questions on Wheat or diseases of crops should be brought to the meeting for Walker’s discussion.
