Hoosier Historical Tour Visits Geneva Spring Pilgrimage Saturday, Sunday LAFAYETTE—As the second in a series of Hoosier historical tours offered to teachers, students and others, interested citizens of Indiana will join the society of Indiana pioneers May 17 and 18 in ■their spring pilgrimage. Sponsored by the two state universities, Purdue and Indiana, the two state teachers’ colleges and the Indiana historical bureau as a service .in adult education and designed for instruction in Indiana’s history, the tours are open to anyone wishing to attend the series or I to appear for one tour or part of a tour. The second tour, the spring pilgrimage, will‘leave the Indianapolis bus terminal at 7 a.m. Saturday, May 17, by chartered bus. Stops wlil be made at the Puterbaugh museum in Peru and then at Geneva tor a visit to the Gene i Stratton Ported home, byway of the France Slocum Trail through Marion. Then the group will proceed to the Mennonite church at i Berne. The night will be spent in Fort Wayne and on i Sunday the tour will inI chide the Lincoln Museum at i Fort Wayne and other historic sitl es in that city. The sheriff's department is inI vestigating an incident of indeI that occurred along \ the Wabash river Tuesday. The ' act . was reported by two ladies ; from Linn Grove who were fish--1 ing at the river. ! The women stated that three I young men without any swimj ming apparel were parading on the banks across the river. They J reported that the men swam across the river and started to steal their fishing J fequipment. ' When the women threatened to; call the law, the men threw the! fishing gear back to the other i side and fled from the scene. On the information given to the! sheriffs department, the men are believed to be from Randolph county.

Practice Sessions Os Lillie Leaguers Managers and coaches of the six Decatur Little League teams met Tuesday night at city hall and set up a schedule of practice sessions for their teams preparatory to opening the 1958 season next month. All managers emphasized that the first scheduled practice sessions for each team will be confined . to new candidates, with holdover team members report-' ing at the second practice. All practice sessions will be held at the Homestead and Stratton Place diamonds. Three teams are scheduled to practice today. The schedule follows: Today—4 p. m..
