The meeting took place at the Preble recreation center, with Ruth Ann Beery, vice president, in charge. A health talk was given by Helen Reppert, and a safety lesson by Pauline McDougall on sanitation. Roll call was given by

The meeting began with Roger Schlickman, vice pres- ; ident, leading the club in the 4-H : pledge and Jim Brown reading ; the minutes of the last meeting. < Roll was then caleld with the members answering with the name of their favorite tractor. 27 members and one visitor were present. Following the roll call Allen Freels led the group in singing. Junior Lantz and Rene Brown then gave a talk on how to have a good personality. Donnie Egley then gave the points to remember when making a leaf collection and Max Moser gave many interesting facts on trees growing in Indiana. Following this, Roger Dick gave a talk on the preparation of a table lamp. It was then decided to have a club softball team with Max Egley captain.
