■--■■■—!? ■ ' — Jackets Lose To Berne Bears In Dual Meet The Berne Bears defeated the Decatur Yellow Jackets, 60-51, in a closely contested dual meet Thursday afternoon at Worthman field in this city. The Bears won five individual events and both relay races, while the Jackets won five events, with a tie for first in the pole vault. Larry Moses, of Decatur, was the only multiple winner, copping both hurdle races and also the broad jump. Bob Worthman, head track coach, announced today that the next home meet for - the Yellow Jackets will be a night affair at 8 p.m. next Thursday under the lights at Worthman field. Ossian Winner In Quadrangular Monmouth was host Thursday afternoon to three Wells county track teams in a quadrangular meet held at-the. Monmouth field. The Ossian Bears won the meet with 57% points.
