Grass Fires Result In Department Calls | Grass fires necessitated the call- ■ ing of the Decitur fire department twice Thursday afternoon. The firemen were first called to extinguish a grass fire at the end of Madison street at 1:45 p.m. The i fire was confined entirely to a grass lot and was extinguished in 15 ' minutes. The eight teen-agers include Lgonida Mies, Bill Beal, Bonnie Hake, Steve Omlor, Susie Sutton. Severin Schurger, Torn,Meyer, and Dianne Baker. The producers of Club 21 sent an invitation to the school after inquiricy had been made earlier by . the students on active participation in the show. Each Saturday night, for an hour and a half, various schools in the Fort Wayne and neighboring city area are invited to send delegations to take active i parts in the show. The students : dance to recorded music, are in- ! terviewed by the ipaster of cere--1 monies, games are played and refreshments are served.
