*"■". v —" ¥-»«■>. "»■ r—:■ Fashion Show Presented At Center Tuesday Night By Delta Theta Tau To be one of the fashionable few oir tetter known as one of America’s ten best dressed women, one must spend SIO,OOO to SIOO,OOO or more each year on clothes alone, not counting furs and jewels, to even be considered. However, if she chooses her clothes wisely, keeps herself utterly feminine and young at heart, she will always be fashionable. Not to be one of the chosen few but to be fashionable was the thought behind the fashion show "Daylight to Candlelight," staged for the public Tuesday evening by the Omicron chapter
of the Delta Theta Tau sorority. Fashions shown throughout the evening were presented through the courtesy of Decatur merchants. They displayed the trend of the season to be used as a guide in the future. Mrs. James Newton was narrator for the show which opened with children's fashions throughout the Easter parade, nonstop into summer. Local models, modeling everything from sportswear to pretty party dresses, were Janelle Helper, Marcia Sheets, Barbara Steury, David Dowell, Cynthia Gehrig, Mrs. Bill Butler and -- daughters, Louis and Denise, Ricky Dowell, Mary Ehinger, Julie, Debbie, and Cindy Zerkle, Randy Gehrig, Greg Dowell. Judy Brewer, and Lindell Rumschlag. Change appeals to the women in every walk of life. There is now a change in the shape of fashion. It is the easy, chemise look that relaxes the line of everything a woman wears from "Daylight to Candlelight." Modeling "Daylight" fashions included the Misses Onalee Barkley, Barbara Bleeke, Catherine Loshe, Judy Sexton, Jana 1 e e Smith, Susan Sutton, Judy Lane, SPECIAL OFFER!
