To Bare FCC | Members Named For Misconduct House Investigators Send Some Members A List Os Charges WASHINGTON IIP) — House investigators today sent some mem- I bers of the Federal Communica- I tions Commission (FCC) a list of I “misconduct” charges against I them and warned that their I names would be bared to the I public Friday. Only those accused of wrong- I doing were to receive individual i1 statements. Names of those re- I ceiving bills of particulars were I to be made public. The charges were dispatched to I enable those involved to prepare I answers when questioned under I oath next week. The special I House subcommittee investigating I the FCC and five other regula- I tory agencies voted unanimously j I late Wednesday to question FCC : I commissioners under oath on I charges of “alleged personal, of- I ficial misconduct.” The subcommittee also voted to I forbid its investigating staff to I provide subcommittee members I themselves with of the staff's I “confidential” reports.
