FBI Agents Arrest Man At Indianapolis INDIANAPOLIS (W — FBI agents arrested Marcus Eugene Anderson, 23, at his home here late Thursday on a federal warrant charging him with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution in connection with a garage burglary in Louisa, Va. Anderson was held in Marion County Jail pending an appearance before a U.S. Commissioner. DURKIN (Continued fr'gni page one) spread east, and became the tribes as known in the 15th century. Smith then explained where the Indians lived, in Indiana at the time of tha. Revolutionary War. The Wyandqts roamed the south central area, the Shawnees in the southeast, the Piankeshaws in the southwest, Delawares in the central, the Shockeys and Kickapoos west of the Wabash in the central area, the Miami federation along the Wabash, and the Potowatamies in the northwest, When George Rogers Clark began his expedition for Virginia, there were approximately 5,000 Indian warriors and 24,000 total Indian people in what is now Indiana. It was not firearms, or farming, or lack of game that really spelled, downfall for the Indians, but whiskey, Smith explained, describing how the braves traded all their clothes from their backs, and lay drunk in the mud, rooted over by hogs and chickens, from the illegal whiskey trade. More Indians died in drunken brawls shooting each other than were killed in all the famous battles. Smith then described the campaigns of Harmar, St. Clair, and Wayne in the 1700's, and how the Indians were finally subdued. He suggested that the historical society now study the Indian* in this locality to help discover the true story of them here. - JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES Kingdom Hall Corner Monroe and Ninth Sunday, >2:30 p.m.: Watchtower Bible study and discussion on the .subject, “Examples of Keepers of Integrity.” One of the scriptures for consideration WHI be Deuteronomy 6; 13. It is nicknamed “Zeta," This country is working on a similarly shaped but somewhat larger device called the "ModelC Stellerator.” Until recently, officials had thought it woud be mid-1960 at .the earliest before this 23-million-dollar machine, being installed at Princeton, would go into operation.
