Zion Lutheran The annual Christmas carol and candlelighting vesper will be conducted at Zion Lutheran church. West Monroe street, Sunday evening at 7 o’clock. Both a chorus of men's voices and a children’s choir will sing special Christmas anthems. A total of eight Christmas carols will be sung by the asembly. The service will.,reach its climax in the ceremony of candlelighting and the singing of "Silent Night!" by candlelight with all articial lights of the church extingusisbed. Savings Bond Sales Decrease In State T. F. Graliker, chairman of the Adams county U. S. savings bonds committee, has received a report showing that the county’s savings bonds sales for November were $64,199.01 compared with $64,342.66 for the corresponding month of last year. Thirty-nine of the state's 92 counties reported sales gains for the month over a year ago. The state’s sales of savings bonds for November were lower than last year’s by more than 10 per cent, 10,429,473, compared with 11,600,596 for November of 1956. Amstutz, proof of mailing of the notice in the matter of the determination of inheritance tax was filed. Net value of the estate was found to be $3,074.06 and $750.91 outside of said estate. Divorce In the divorce case of Alice A. Schott vs. Ray Schott, an absolute degree of divorce was granted by the court. Custody of two minor children went to the plaintiff.
