Attendance Report Os County Schools Hartford high school, with an attendance percentage of 98.8 among its 61 "students, and Zion Lutheran grade four through eight, with an attendance of 95.7 among 43 pupils, reported the best attendance records among Adams county schools for the recent six-weeks period. These figures were shown in a report compiled and released by Mrs. Mildred Foley, attendance officer. Mrs. Foley explained that attendance during the period was j generally lower than usual because of the high flu incidence among the students. Warns Merchants On Postal Money Orders Decatur area merchants are . warned not to accept postal money orders froip National Bridge. Ala., ’ or the Red Banks, Miss., post offices, without first checking with . the local post office, Leo Kirsch, postmaster, said today. A large number of money orders were stolen from the National Bridge post office Dec. 6, and Monday some of them turned up in Indianapolis. They were passed at department stores, men’s stores, and jewelry I stores. The man and women known to be passing the stolen money orders are believed to be working north from Indianapolis. They may be armed and dangerous. Merchants are advised to make an excuse for not cashing the order, and then following the person to ascertain the kind, color, make; and license number of the car the passers are using.
