| Revival Continues I At Union Chapel p Services Continue f Until December 15 L The revival services that began i last Sunday morning at the Union f Chapel Evangelical United Bretht ren church will continue into next [ week. They will close on Sunday r evening. Dec. 15. f “Evangelist Patrick Henry has I been bringing some very helpful L and inspiring messages. Rev. Heni ry uses only the Bible as his text f and all his messages are based f on the Word of God. The Gospel of g Christ is made very plain to his F audiences. The message's last Sun- * day told of the need of mankind t today and how God through Christ * has met that need.” F The sermon Tuesday evening * was on the subject of Hell. Rev. t Henry mentioned how many today a try to do away with the thought i and reality of Hell, but he brought f many Biblical statements to show f the reality of hell. f Wednesday evenings service was g very interesting as Rev. Henry i spoke on the rich young ruler. He i showed hoik each Christian had to F rely upon the grace of God when f confronted with the commandt ments of God. f Don Lonie, of Detroit, spoke F briefly of his work with young peo- ' pie in the high schools. He had f spoken in the local high school a that day. Rev. Henry brought L Lonie to the service as he is a F personal* friend. - f Thursday evening. Rev. Henry ts spoke from the book of Job. In the L sermon he spoke of the workings F of Satan against Christ and f against the Christian. Music was I given by the ladies sextet of the L Pleasant Dale Church of the F Brethren. Special music is furF nished each night during the servt ices. < The evangelist will speak in the f Former Decatur Man [ Undergoes Operation F Decatur friends have received P word that Dr. James G. Neptune. t formerly of Decatur, is recovering f at Mt. Dora, Fla., from a double hernia operation. The former local dentist is able 1 to be up most of the time. «
