Gillig In a double ring ceremony performed in the Precious Blood Catholic church in Fort Wayne this morning, David Harmon Gillig, Decatur, took as his bride Miss Mary Delsina Bissonnette, daughter of Mrs. Armond Bissonnette, of 1418 Wells street, Fort Wayne. The Rev. John E. Gillig, brother of the bridegroom, performed the ceremony and nuptial mass which followed, at 10 o’clock. Assisting Rev. Gillig during the mass were Donald Gillig, master of ceremonies, and Anthony and Gerald Gillig, servers, all brothers of the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Leo T. Given fri marriage by her eousin, Carl Offerle, the bride appeared in a gown of ivory silk taffeta and lace. Long sleeves formed points over her wrists, and the portrait neckline of the fitted bodice was detailed with scallops of re-em-broidered lace below tiny tucks. Her voluminous skirt swept into a chapel length train, and her fingertip veil of imported illusion showered from a pearl and sequin embroidered lace shell cap. Her bouquet consisted of small white pompons and bridal white streamers atop a mother of the pearl prayer book. Mrs. Michael F. Toohig, Fort Wayne, served her sister as matron of honor in a floor length gown of emerald green velvet. The molded bodice extended into a sheath panel with fullness on either side, creating the bouffant skirt. A detachable collar fashioned the Sabrina neckline. She carried an arrangement of glamellias and pale pink carnations, and completed her outfit with a pink, velvet headband.
