FAUBUS (Continued from Page One) charge, originally made Monday to Mai, Gen. Edward A, Walker, federal trooper commander here, that soldiers had accompanied Negro girl students into dressing rooms. i The White House, on the same day the charge was made public, denounced them "completely untrue and completely vulgar.” ‘Faubus said today that the Washington attitude is “an indication” of the “hysteria now prevalent in our national administration,” Faubus, complaining that he -has “been suffering from a mild case of flu for several days,” cancelled a speech he was supposed to make this afternoon at Arkansas A&M College at Monticello. Army Secretary Wilbur M. Brucker demanded Tuesday that the governor back up his statement with proof. “If he has any evidence to support his allegations,” Brucker said in Washington, “he should come forward and tell the public immediately 411 t>f the details upon which he leveled such serious and defamatory charges. He cannot be allowed to hide behind generalities.” Faubus told a reporter Tuesday that he had received at least a dozen telephone calls supporting his charges. He said, however, he did not intend to make public the names of any girl students who reported the incidents. The actual integration process at the school went on Tuesday much in the same pattern it has assumed for the past three school days. The nine Negro students whose attendance at Central High is being backed by the federal troops again rode to and from classes in an army station wagon accompanied by two jeeps filled with soldiers. Students on the grounds paid no attention to their coming and going.
