COURY NEWS Case Venued A complaint on account, filed by the Fred L. Miller Feed Co., Inc., against Jim Stevens, Mabel Stevens, Robert Stevens, Sarah Stevens, and Harry Huey, Jr., has received a change of venue from Jay county, to the Adams county court. Set for Hearing The demurrer and verified motion to strike remonstrances in the matter of the petition for drain, filed by Fred Stoppenhagen and ■ the board of commissioners of; Wells county, has been submitted to the court and set for hearing September 13, at 9 a.m. Agreement Reached Carol and Vernon Nevil, parties involved in a divorce suit, have reached an agreement of custody of minor children. Their appearances were made by counsel. Estate Cases Total appraised value of the Faye Shoemaker' estate is $lB,597.61, according to the personal representative’s inventory and appraisement which has been submitted, examined and approved. Os this amount, $5,000 is in real estate; $320 in furniture; $1,840.87 in U.S. savings bonds; $1,470.61 in bank accounts and money; $9,936.13 in time certificates of deposits, and S3O in all other property. Jennie A. Glassbum, widow of George H. Glassburn, has submit ted a request for trial by jury in her husband's estate. Also filed is the personal representative's inventory, which shows the total appraised value of his estate to be $34,065.02, with $13,000 in real cs-1 tate; $909 48 in crops;' $70.94 in corporate stock; $19,144.60 in bank accounts, and $940 in all other property. A notice has been ordered issued returnable September 9, in the estate of George C. McAlhaney. The inheritance tax appraiser’s report shows the net value of the estate is $5,021.78 with a son. Ora O. McAlhaney, as the sole heir. Five sons, a daughter-in-law and three granddaughters are heirs to the estate of Isabelle Garnet Sutton, which the inheritance tax appraiser’s report shows is valued at $24,402.41. A notice has been ordered issued, returnable September 9. In the Minnie G. Black estate, the personal representative’s report ahs been filed, examined and approved, and shows $1,050 in real estate. The last will and testament of William Michaels, Sr. has been ordered probated and placed on record. The will names three sons, four grandsons and two granddaughters as heirs to the estate. A bond in the sum of SB,OOO has been submitted, examined and approved. Net value of the Louisa Baumgartner estate is $12,931.21, as shown in the inheritance tax appraiser’s report, which also shows that there is tax due in the sum of $69.30. A petition to compromise claims has been filed in the Oscar Myers estate, as has been the schedule to determine the inheritance tax, which was filed with reference to the county assessor. Grand total net estate is shown to be $600.38. The schedule to determine the inheritance tax of the Lewis H. Rumschlag estate has been submit?ted, examined and approved, and shows the net value of the estate to be $3,874.42, with no tax due. After the inheritance tax appraiser’s report of the Henry Frohnapfcl estate was fifed, a notice was ordered issued returnable September 9. The widow, a son and three daughters arc heirs to the estate. Total appraised value of the Rosa M. Brown estate is shown in the personal representative's inventory to be $4,584.63.
