Shrine Horse Show On August 3 And 4 Leo Carrillo Will Be Top Attraction The third annual Shrine horse show will feature the world famixl movie and television star. Leo Carrillo of Hollywood, Calif. The 1957 equestrian extravaganza will be- staged, at- the. Shrine, show grounds qn state road 9 one mile north of Columbia City, Saturday, August 3, and Sunday. August 4. There will be performances for all types of horses and ponies Saturday at 1 p. m.; Saturday at 7 p.m.; Sunday at 10 a. m., 1:30 p. m., and 7:30 p. m. Saturday night is Shrine unit night and the gala show will open with a grand entry of the potentate and divan show officials. Shrine patrol, famous band and mounted patrol with a presentation of the colors by the Shrine color guard. Sundax night is Shrine club night wfen $1 Shrine clubs of Mizpah Temple will be honored. The entire groupds wilj be thoroughly fogged for the tomfort <Y the public. A civid dinner honoring the star of the show, Leo Carrillo, will be held Friday night. August 2, at the Shrine Temple ballroom in Fort Wayne at 6:30 p. m. Lieutenant Governor Crawford Parker, will attend the dinner and welcome Carrillo to Indiana. Mayor Robert E. Meyers will be present to extend the hospitality of Fort Wayne to Carrillo, better known as "Pancho" in his famed television series of the old west. Tickets for this dinner may be purchased at the Shrine Temple, 407 West Berry, and are $5 each. The Shrine horse show will bring champion horses from throughout the mid-west including English and western types, i parade horses and ponies. Arabian horses and beautiful Palaminos. The price of general admission , is $1 for single day; S2O for a box containing 6 seats for . the two-day show; or sl2 for a box for one day. • Ralph Latham and Guy Foltz are co-directors; Edgar Terrell, 1 assistant director; Fred Mowrer. show secretary; and Fred Rye, assistant secretary.

Evansville Market Robbed Os $3,500 fiVANSVILLE <UP> -Two funmen held up an Evansville meat market late Wednesday, bound and Ragged the owner and escaped with 3,500. Gottlieb Wessel, 75, owner of the Wessel Meat Market, said the store is closed on Wedncs day afternoon. He spid he came down from his apartment above the store for a glass of orange juice and found two men ransacking the place.
