After the car was brought in, with the assistance of the state police, it was learned that the car had been stolen, although it had not been reported to the proper authorities, who in this case would have been the sheriffs office or the Fort Wayne post state police. The car, belonging to Lewis Baleniine. was stolen from in front of his residence in Berne, and was apparently stolen Saturday evening. After it was recovered Sunday, and the stolen report was verified, authorities returned the car to the rightful owner, and an investigation is being continued.
