Chilly Aftermath In State Follows Heat Blanket, Sweater Weather In State By UNITED PRESS Blanket and sweater weather washed Indiana in a chilly math of a four-day hot *P*U today. Temperatures dipped to the low sOs In northern sections, including 51 at South Bend and Goshen. A 58 at Indianapolis was. within six degrees of the all-time low for this' date. Even Evansville had a comfortable a low mark this morning. Weathermen forecast highs ranging from 77 to 83 this afternoon, lows of 57 to 00 tonight, and highs of 82t o 85 Thursday. No further rain was due before Friday night at the earliest, and today and Thursday were due to be “sunny and pleasant.” The five-day outlook for the period ending next Monday indicated temperatures will average near or a little below normal highs of 83 to 01 and normal lows of 80 to 72. “Somewhat warmer Friday with only minor temperature fluctuations thereafter," the outlook said. "Precipitation will average onetenth to one-half inch with chance of scattered thundershowers Friday night or Saturday.” Rainfall for the 24-hour period ending at 7 a m today included 1.14 inches at Indianapolis, 1.04 at Seymour, .75 at Columbus, and .88 at Scottsburg. Those showers followed heavier rainfall ranging up to more than four inches at Lafayette during the previous 24-hour period. 1958 All-Star Game Awarded Baltimore BALTIMORE 'UP) — The 1958 major league All Star Game has been awarded to Baltimore, it was announced today by Oriole Club President James Keelty. Keelty said that the probable date for the game, the 25th in the serious which started in 1933, would be Tuesday, July 8, 1958.
