Soybeans Best Bet In Replanting Here Soybeans are a better bet for fanners than buckwheat or other small grain in replanting fioodedout fields until the middle of next week, county agent Leo N. Seltenright cautioned today. There is a good market in this area tor soybeans, and even though the acreage for this crop has increased until it may equal or pass corn in Adams county, it will still be a good crop here. Buckwheat does not produce well here, and requires a different method of harvesting than the usual Combihe operation in this county. Many farmers have already lost two plantings through flooding in the county, and some have even reported three plantings lost. This will be one of the most serious loss years in recent years in Adams county, Seltenright predicted. 11 vou have something to sen or rooms f or rent, try a Democrat w»ut Ad -— they bring results.
