Marilyn Jaberg Is Married Saturday To Thomas L Drew White and pink gladiolus with huckleberry foliage and pink satin ribbons and four candelabra holding seven shell pink tapers graced the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church for the Saturday evening marriage of Miss Marilyn V. Jaberg to Thomas L. prew. The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Jaberg, 315 North Fourth streets and Drew is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Thurman I. Drew, 428 Mercer avenue. Receiving the double ring vows at 6:30 o’clock was the Rev. William C, Feller. A half-hour musicale by Mrs. Edgar Gerber, organist, and Miss Helen Haubold, vocalist, preceded the ceremony. Nuptial selections from the organ were “Spring Song,” “To AWild Rose,” f “Wedding Intermezzo,” “Through the Years,” “Because,” “Wedding Prayer,” 1 and “The Lord’s- Prayer.” Escorted to the altar by her father. down the white carpeted aisle flanked by pews th ar ked With white satin bows, the bride appeared in a gown ot re-embroidered nylon tulle. Brief sleeves and a scooped necklin edged in tiny irridescent sequins detailed the bodice, and self-covered buttons extended down ue back of the bodice to the waistline. The bouffant skirt held panels of re-embroidered tulle: an under panel down the center back swept into the chapel length train. Hej veil of illusion was attached to a matching Juliet cap of tulle sprinkJed with pearls and irridescent sequins. She carried a floral Arrangement of a white orchid and stepha not is backed with white satin ribbons. White organdy ballerina-length gowns were worn by the matron of honor, Mrs. Lavern Roth, sister of the Bride, Decatur, and the bridesmaids, Mrs. Dick D. Heller, Jr., and Miss Carol Kalver, Decatur. Their gowns were bordered in pink embroidery, which also outlined the scooped neckline and brief sleeves and extended down the center front and back to the waistline. On their heads were crowns of pink flowers with matching veils. Their hand bouquets were opened pink champagne roses and sweetheart roses. In identical ensembles, the Misses Cheryl Roth, niece of the bride and Barbara Gilliom, niece of the bridegroom, both of Decatur, were flower girls. They, too, wore crowns of pink flowers topped with matching veils and carried white baskets with pink bows and rose petals. Robert Drew attended his brother as best man, and ushers were Lavern Roth and Jerald Grandstaff, both of Decatur. Aquamarine lace fashioned the dress of the bride’s mother. White accessories and a corsage of pink champagne roses completed her ensemble. Mrs. Drew chose a dress in lieutenant blue lace, with which she wore white accessories and a corsage of pink champagne'roses. Immediately following the ceremony, 200 guests were present at the reception in the church parlors. Centered on the serving table was the four-tiered wedding cake adorned with pink flowers and greenery, topped with a cluster of white bells, and edged with roses. Also on the linen-covered table were pink and white bells and 'candles. Serving were the Mesdames RollandGilliom' and Robert Drew and the Misses Sunya Stuckey, Barbara Cole, and Gaynel Lankenau, Decatur. Mrs. James Scherer, Fort Wayne, attended the guest book, and Miss Carol Elzey, Decatur, registered gifts. For traveling, the bride changed into a blue and white embroidered cotton sheath, with which she wore white Accessories. Mrs. Drew, a graduate of .Decatur high school, attended HanoVer College and Indiana University. She is presently employed at the VA hospital, Fort Wayne. Graduated form Monmouth high school, the bridegroom is a senior at Ball' State Teachers college, Muncie.. ... Farmer Is Killed By Dynamite Explosion PLYMOUTH W) — Henry Samuelson, 67, a Marshall county farmer, was killed and a neighbor was injured seriously Saturday in a dynamite explosion. SOCIETY PSI IOTA XI PLEDGE PICNIC PLANS COMPLETED Plans for the Psi lota Xi pledge* picnic to be held Tuesday evening at the Boy Scout Cabin, have been completed. Each member will bring a covered dish and table service, according to the plans for the HannaNuttman park outing. Drink will be provided by the pledges, Mrs. James Markley and Miss Caiolyn Weigmann. Ronnie left Thursday afternoon for their home in California. Having attended the birthday supper and reunion in honor of Lawrence Stetler, they will also visit relatives in Reno, Nev., for several days. Visiting Judge Lloyd Mahan, her son. and his wife, in Parkston, S. Dak., Mrs. Maud Mahan accompanied them to plerre, S. Dak., and spent several hours in the Capitol and museum there. Paintings of the governors and beautiful murals on the walls of the Capitol building were among the sights, Mrs. Mahan reports, that were wonderful. Dr. and Mrs. R. K. Johnson Jacobs, route 5, a son weighing nine pounds, 11 ounces, was born at 1:50 a.m. Sunday. At 5:25 a.m. Sunday, a sevenpound, five ounce daughter was bom to Don and Martha Laurent Giant, route seven, Fort Wayne. Today at 10:22 a.m., Jacob and ( Rosina Schwartz Wickey, route two, Berne, became the parents of a daughter weighing six pounds, six and one half ounces. Commissioners In Monthly Session /*. Regular monthly claims were allowed during the first part of today’s meeting of the county commissioners. A report of the county home was given by George Fosnaugh, who is county home superintendent, and another report was submitted stated that another tuberculosis patient has been transferred to the Irene Byron sanitorium, in Fort Wayne. On the request of Marshall Hilpert, of St. Mary’s township, the commissioners will inspect a ditch on his property. Other business brought before the commissioners included two petitions for black-top-ping of roads. A petition was pre-'' sented by residents living in a new residential area past Ben Eiting’s home, that a portion of road 8 in Washington township be. blacktopped, and the same request was submitted by several residents of Kirkland township, seeking the bl^ck topping of a stretch of road running past the Antioch Beery church.

A cannoneer with the infantry’s mortar battery, he was selected for his soldierly appearance, knowledge of duties and military courtesy.
