Senators And Indians Win In Little League TJie Senators defeated the Red Sox, 6-4. and the Indians whipped the White Sok, 10-4, in Little League games Tuesday night at Wortliman field. In the opener, the Red Sox took in early lead with singles in the first and second innings, but the Senators scored three in the third on only one hit and two more in the fourth, again on only one safety. The winners/had only three hits, but benefited from seven bases on balls and five errors. In the nightcap, the teams were scoreless for two innings, but the Indians counted twice in the third, once in the fourth, on only one hit. Each team obtained only five hits. One game is scheduled this evening, the Tigers meeting the Yankees at 6 o’clock. Following the Little League game, the Decatur minor American Legion team will play Huntington. Three Ministers Are Honored At Luncheon Three local ministers who are changing pastorates were honored at noon. Tuesday, with a farewell luncheon at the Pioneer restaurent, in conjunction with a regular meeting of the Decatur ministerial association. So honored were the Rev. John E. Chambers of the Trinity E. U. B. church, who Mas assumed the pastorate of the Grace church at Lafayette; the Rev. W. H. Kirkpatrick, whose resignation from the Church of God becomes effective September 1, and the Rev. Ray J. Walther, who has accepted the pastorate of the First Presbyterian church at Fort of the three men was presented with a book, a gift of the association. Alw in attendance were the Revs. Virgil W. Sexton, Benjamin Thdmas, Gerald Gehrig, Lawrence Norris, and Stuart Mrightwell, and Caroil Myers, who is minister of the Church of Christ. Arrest Driver For Running Stop Sign Donald F. Bale, 22, was arrested by state police at 7:15 a. m. Tuesday, for disregarding a stop sign at the junction of Winchester street extended and U. S. 27. He is scheduled to appear in J. P. court Thursday at 7 p. m. A fine of $5 and costs was paid by G'enn G. Cross, of Canton, Ohio, who was arrested last Friday tor speeding. He appeared in court Monday evening. Inability-to pay a fine of $5 and costs has put Robert G. Meyer. 24, of Fort Wayne, in the county jail tor 20 days. The man was arrested by state police for driving while his license was suspended.
