over the hand?. The bouffant skirt was taffeta with lace applique. A bouquet of white and pink rosebuds with delphinium and a fingertip veil of imported Swiss illusion falling from a matching lace headpiece completed her bridal ensemble. Miss Rachel Settlage served as maid of, honor for her sister in a carnation pink waltz length gown of tissue taffeta. The bodice was fashioned of lace and a scalloped sabrina neckline, while the full skirt held lace inserts. Matching ribbon made the headpiece, and her flowers were a nosegay of dark red rosebuds. Miss Nancy Kirsch and Miss Joanne Warmbrod attended as bridesmaids, and Miss Susan Settlage. flower girl. All wore ensembles identical in style to the honor attendant’s. Steve Settlage. nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. Serving as best man was Randel Walchle, brother of the bridegroom, and ushers were Larry Walchle and Leo Sheets. Dusty rose pure silk fashioned the dress Mrs. Settlage chose for her daughter’s wedding. She complemented her ensemble with matching accessories and a corsage of white rosebuds. The bridegroom’s mother selected a dress of black silk, with which she wore white accessories and a corsage of white rosebuds. In the church parlor after the Ceremony, the newlyweds received 200 guests. The serving table was spread with a white linen table cloth, and adorned with candles and vases of cut flowers, to form the setting for the four-tier wedding cake. Mrs. Darrel Arnold, Mrs. Ralph Ross, Jr., Miss Carol Egley, and Miss Kathryn Young were servers, while Mrs. Dale Fruchte tended the guest register. Leaving for a wedding trip north, the bride wore a brown sheath dress with brown and white accents, and the corsage from her wedding bouquet. Both are graduates of Monmouth high school, and the bride is a recent graduate of Earlham college. The bridegroom is employed by the farm supply office of the Central Soya company in Decatur.
