Miss Leola A. Ford Is Married Today To Ted W. Moser This morning at 10 o’clock, Miss Leola Ann Ford, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Wayne Ford, 1228 Mix Drive, became the bride of Ted W. Moser, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moser, route one, Geneva. At the St. Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. Robert Contant read the vows of the double-ring ceremony before an altar banked with baskets of white gladiolus. Sr. M. Margaretta, C.S.A., was organist for the processional and the recessional. white carpet. Alencon lace and silk taffeta fashioned the bride’s floor-length gown. The fitted bodice was topped with a square neckline and brief sleeves. Covering the sheath skirt, a full overskirt was of nylon sheer organza. A fingertip veil of imported silk illusion caught to a lace and taffeta bonnet highlighted with seed pearls and a cascade bouquet of pale pink carnations and deep red beauty roses completed the bride's ensemble. Miss Kathleen Pursley, friend of the bride, served as maid of honor in a pale pink nylon organdy ballerina-length gown. The fitted bodice was detailed with Venice lace and a scooped neckline. bouffant, and white accessories complemented the dress, along with a pink crescerit head band trimmed with a short veil in black. She carried a cascade of variegated pink and white carnations and deep red American beauty roses. Bridesmaid was Miss Sandra Girardot, a friend of the bride. Her attire and flowers were identical to that of to e maid of hondr. James Moser, brother of the groom, was best,man, and Thomas Wagley, Geneva route two; and Herbert Nagel, Fort Wayne, ushered. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Ford selected a brown and White sheath dress with beige and white accessories. Mrs. Moser attended her son’s wedding in a powder blue lace-over-taffeta dress, with white accessories. Corsages Os white carnations complemented the mothers’ ensembles. Forty guests are being entertained with a buffet lunch at the home of the bride. At the Decatur Youth and Community Center, from 2 o’clock to 5 o’clock this afternoon, the bridal party will receive 200 guests. On the main table of the reception will be the four-tier white wedding cake, adorned With pale pink roses and white bells and topped by a miniature bouquet matching the bride’s flowers. Around the cake will lay roses and greenery. Pink candles on either side, and baskets of orange blossoms and pink peonies beside the table carry out the decorating theme further. Serving at the reception will be the Misses Dolores Braun, Joanne Braun, Rosemary Gase, Alice Gage, and Ann Durkin, and Mrs. Henry Miller. Miss Nita Osterman is to register gifts. Mrs. Moser has chosen a beige and white dotted silk shirtwaist dress with patent and white accessories and a corsage of white carnations as her going-away ensemble. The destination of their wedding trip is unannounced. A graduate of Decatur Catholic high school, Mrs. Moser attended Saint Francis college in Fort Wayne. Moser was graduated from Hartford high school. presently attends Indiana Univewty and is employed by Sears Roebuck and company, in Fort Wayne. After June 17, the newlyweds will reside at 306V> West Creighton, Fort Wayne. /v “FAR-FLUNG'SERVICE” THEME OF WOMEN’S GUILD MEETING "Far-Flung Service” was the theme of the most recent of the monthly meetiligs of the Women's Guild of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed church, as planned by Mrs. Lawrence Rash. Via "Mission Airways,” the group went on an imaginary journey* to Honduras, Ecuador, Togoland. West Africa, Raipien, India. Hong Kong, China and Japan. Mrs. Robert Houk presided over the business meeting. ROADSIDE COUNCIL' HEARS MRS. SOPHIA DIEFENBAUGH Mrs. Sophia Diefenbaugh, district supervisor, spoke to the Adams county roadside council Tuesday afternoon at the public library on “Clean-Up and Beautification.” Mrs John Floyd, president, conducted the meeting. After the club prayer was given in unison, minutes of the last meeting were read and the roll was called by the secretary, Mrs. Paul R. Rich. Mrs. Diefenbaugh, introduced by Mrs. Floyd, began her talk by giving the purposes of the roadside council: safety on Indiana highways, roads, and streets; conservation of Indiana roadsides and rights-of-way; and beautification of Indiana roadsides. t Enlarging upon the improvements in appearance of Indiana highways, Mrs. Diefenbaugh stated that this is possibly a result of the dumping law. However, she reflected that it seems people are taking ink more pride in keeping things beautiful: and though God gave humanity all these growing things, everyone must work together to keep the state up to a standard df which to be proud. Mrs. Diefenbaugh announced that the state meeting will be held July 9 at Greenfield. TTiree new members, Mrs. Wm. Noll, Mrs. Ira Bodie, and Mrs. Edward Koos, were welcomed. Mrs. Floyd invited the group to come to her cottage at Lake James in the middle of July. The slates for the June meeting and the July party wifi be announced later. The group then went to view the multiflora roses in Highland park on High street. Mrs. Floyd Arnold will be hostess to the Kirkland WCTU Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Olive Rebekah Lodge No. 86 will bold their regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Odd Fellows HaU. Annual picnic of the Business and Professional Women’s Club will be Wednesday evening at 6:30 o’clock at Hanna Nuttman park.

Miss Elnora Gaunt Wed This Morning To Roger D. Braun Before an altar adorned with large baskets of white gladioli and palms, Miss Elnora Alice Gaunt exchanged double-ring wedding vows with Roger Daniel Braun in the St. Mary's Catholic church at 9 o'clock this morning, the Rev. Robert Contant officiating. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gaunt, route five, Decatur; the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Margaret Braun. 227 North Seventh street, Decatur. For the musicale. Sr. M. Margaretta, C.S.A., was organist. The choir sang “Hail, Holy Mary,” and “Ava Maria.” Given in mafriage by her father,, the bride appeared in a gown of Chantilly lace and tulle. Detailing the fitted bodice was a Sabrina neckline and short sleeves, complemented with Chantilly lace mitts. The bouffant skirt of scalloped panels of lace ended in a chapel length train. Her fingertip veil of imported illusion was caught to a pillbox of lace and pearls, and she carried a white orchid atop a prayer book. In a floor length gown of ice blue nylon chiffon over taffeta, Miss Honora Braun, sister of the bridegroom, attended as maid of honor. A high draped neckline and cap sleeves fashioned the snug-fitting bodice. The draping ended in the back in two panels of chiffon flowing to the hem of the gown. Het headdress, a crown of ice blue pearls with stiff chiffon, gave the effect of a picture hat. White carnations with small blue flowers formed the honor attendant's cascade bouquet. Serving as bridesmaids were Miss Mary Lou Gaunt, sjster of the bride, and Miss Eileen Black. Their ensembles were like the honor attendant's in style and color. Groomsman was Paul Braun, brother of the bridegroom. Roger Gaunt, brother of the bride, and Floyd Braun, brother of the bridegroom, seated the guests. Navy lace over crepe fashioned the dress Mrs. Gaunt chose. She wore white accessories and a corsage of pink roses. For her son’s wedding, Mrs. Braun wore a white suit with black and white accessories, also complemented with a corsage of pink roses. After the ceremony, the Moose home was the scene of the wedding breakfast, which 32 guests attended. This afternoon, 300 guests will be received at the Moose home from 2 o'clock to 5 o’clock. Bouquets of cut spring flowers are to carry out the decorating scheme, while the serving table of the reception will be centered with a four-tier wedding cake, decbrated with a white carpet leading to a bridal couple on the top layer. Serving at the reception will be Mrs. Patrick Hoblet of Celina, 0., Mrs. Keith Schnepp, Mrs. Leona Bienz, and Miss Donna Allen, of Decatur: and Mrs. David Fusthmiller, of Fort Wayne. Mrs. Robert Altevogt, contralto, of Fort Wayne, will present a program, accompanied by Mrs. James Kocher, Jr M in the sanctuary of the church at 2:30 on the 19th, Mrs. Altevogt has had training at the Jordan Conservatory of Music in Indianapolis, and with several outstanding vocal teachers. She has appeared in her own radio show as well 'as on television. Participating in varied activities, she has directed a, church .choir of. high school age pupils and has sung the lead role in musicals such as “Hie Vagabond King,” “The Bartered Bride,” and “Knickerbocker Holiday.” “The King and I” is her next stage appearance, in which she will play the role of Anna in the Fort Wayne Festival of Music Theater’s production to
