A new bridge has been constructed on the Lybajgur road one mile south at Geneva and 1% mile east. The bridge washed out in March when the Wabash flooded, and six families were marooned for a week without roads in or out. High water on. the other end of the road kept them from getting out that way. A foot path was dredged through one field for their use, and some cars were available at the end of the path to take them into Jay county. Families marooned were the Huffs, Reinharts, Beelers, Fenstermakers, Manns, and occupants of the Nate Nelson farm.
