The choir will sing the anthem, “O Come, All Ye Faithful,” under direction of Mrs. J. Clark Mayclin. During hymn time, the congregation will sing the following carols, “The First Noel.” "O Little Town of Bethlehem,” and “It Came upon a Midnight Clear.” The men’s quartet, Paul Saurer, Bill Schrock, Jack Knudsen and Dave Langston, will provide special music. The sacrament of baptism will be administered and new members will be received into the church. * The all-church family Christmas program will be presented at 7:30 p. m. The children of the entire Sunday school, under the direction of Mrs. Calvin Magley, will present the program. In conclusion, Santa will visit the children. Qn Christmas Eve, the special Christmas Eve service of carols and candlelighting will be held at 11 p. m. Each, one will participate in the candlelighting as all receive their light from a candle from the Holy Land. Christmas Gift To Casting Employes Silver Dollars, Food Basket To Employes The Decatur Casting company presented its employes with a Christmas gift of silver dollars in addition to a Christmas food basket, ham and a one pound decorated tin of assorted chocolate candies at the close of the day's operation this afternoon. Distribution of the food baskets has been a yearly event since 1940 and the silver dollars “started rolling” for the Christmas of 1948. The latter distribution is based on length of continuous service with the company, starting with one dollar for those employed July 1, 1956, or after. Five silver dollars were given to those employed between January 1, 1956 and June. 30, 1956. Five silver dollars plus one silver dollar tor each year of service were distributed to those whose latest employment began prior to January 1. 1956. The largest gift amounted to s4l and more than $1,400 was distributed to the employes. The silver dollars were enclosed in individual red and green money bags. H. E. Bromer, resident manager, was unable to be present due to illness. Donald McDaniel, president; Peter E. Rentschler, vice-presi-deift; Harry Young, superintendent, and Glen Mauller. assistant superintendent, made the presentations. , >. —-— White House Holiday For Ike And Mamie WASHINGTON (UP) — President Eisenhower and Mrs. Eisenhower have decided to celebrate Christmas in the White House again this year in probably an oldfashioned family style. Presidential Press Secretary James C. Hagerty gave out no detail! in announcing that the first family will spend Christmas in the executive mansion. But jt is more than likely the Eisenhower children and grandchildren will be on hand as they were last year. The Badlands National Monument in South Dakota is becoming! an increasing popular attraction. Six hundred thousand persons toured the vari-colored Badlands area this summer., four per cent more than in 1955.'
