Mrs. Darrell Gerig was a guest atlthe meeting, and there were 15 members present. “Putting Christ back into Christmas" was the theme of’ the -devotional period, which was Conducted by Mrs. Lester Strahm. She also led the group in singing numerous Christmas carols, after which a gift exchange was held. A carry-in dessert and coffee were then served by the hostess, followed by prayer by Mrs. Gerig. Officers who were elected at the November meeting were announced. They are Mrs. Lester Strahm t president; Mrs. Norris Blocker, vice-president; Mrs. Robert Reynolds, secretary and treasurer; Mrs. Paul Buckingham, assistant secretary and treasurer; and Mrs. Edward Summers and Mrs. Lloyd Reef, press reporter and assistant. Mrs. Leonard Johnston led in the closing prayer. Mrs. Reynolds will be hostess for the next meeting of the group, which will be held January 18. CHRISTMAS PARTY HELD BY FAITHFUL FOLLOWERS The Faithful Followers of the Mt. E., along with the Eagles auxiliary, held their children's Christmas party Sunday evening, with a carry-in supper being served. Sixty-six persons attended the affair, including 29 children. Christmas Play At Missionary Church TheJ young people of tur Missionary church will present a special Chrislffias play Thursday evening at 7; 30. The play centers around a doctor who has failed to catch the true Christ'mas spirit. Through the life of a poor crippled boy he is brought fece to face with Christ‘and hiS life is changed. Main roles in the play will be given by Nancy Helm agd Jerry Beard. The following have supporting parts in the play: Sauja Strahm, Judy Hott, Norman ,-Hart and Richard Beard. A group of young peoplb -singing Christmas carols complete the cast. Preceding the play there will be special Christinas numbers along with some special Christmas poems.
