Bertha Etzler Is I Married Recently To Robert Stevens The marriage of Miss Bertha Lois Etzler to Robert Irvin Stevens was solemnized last Saturday evening, at 6 o'clock, in the Zion j Lutheran church at Schumm, Ohio. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a street-length' dress of white brocaded satin, designed along princess lines. She wore a white velvet hat with a brow veil, and carried an orchid j atop a white Bible.

Attending the couple were Miss Joyce E. Etzler and James R. Stevens. Miss Etzler was attired in a street length dress of red taffeta, with which she wore a red velvet hat, and a wrist corsage of white roses. The bride’s mother wore a beige I and black satin dress, and the bridegroom's mother attended tier son’s wedding in a navy crepe dress. Approximately 150 guests attended the wedding reception, which was held in the church basement following the ceremony. CHRISTMAS PROGRAM PLANNED FOR WOMAN'S CLUB It was announced today that a s variety Christmas program has been arranged by the Dramatic department of the Decatur Woman’s club, for the general meeting of that organization, which will be held Monday evening at 8 o’clock at the Youth and Community center. Mrs. Roy Kalver has been in charge arrangements for the program, which will feature Jean Altervogt, an accomplished soloist from Fort Wayne. Mrs. Kalver’s assistants are Mrs. Reid B. Erekson and Mrs. Art Burris. Members of the Dramatic department who will take part in the Christmas program are Mrs. Lawrence Anspaugh, Mrs. Ferris Bower, and Mrs. Erekson. Members of the St. Vincent DePaul Society will meet Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the C. L. C. hall. Mrs. Lawrence Beekmeyer will be hostess for the attnuab Christmas party of the Ruralistic study club, next Thursday evening at 8 o’clock. a Announcement was made today of a Sing Bee which will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Greenbrier church. Christmas Program At Christian Church» To Present Annual Program On Sunday The annual children’s program io be presented at the First Chris- , tian church Sunday morning by the junior church members has been announced. The program will include a Christmas play, “Four Christmas Notes.” The cast for the play will include Mrs. Paul Daniels, Sunday school teacher, and Bob Anderson, Jim Anderson. Robert Crownover, of Brookside Farms near Pleasant kills, was taken from his home to the Veterans Hospital in Fort Wayne Thursday morning suffering an injury to his back. It is repotted that the injury is to a disc and that his condition is serious. The length of time he will be in the hospital is not definite.
