Eagles Suffer / 6th Straight Loss Saturday The Monmouth Eagles, unable to find the winning touch, suffered their sixth defeat of the season - without a victory Saturday night, with the Rockcreek Dodgers edging out a 43-41 triumph at the Ossian gym. The Eagles were in the lead by ft single point, 11-10, at the end of the first quarter, but the Wells county quintet took a five-point advantage at the half, 23-18, and held the same margin at the third period, 35-30 Stauffer, big Rockcreek center, topped all scorers with 21 points. 11 dh free throws. Monmouth's scoring was well divided, Menter leading with 12, followed by John Myers with 10 and Bob Hildebrand with nine. The Eagles will entertain the Pleasant Mills Spartans at MonFriday night.
